Amplify
As a member of the User Experience team at the educational software company Amplify, I created a number of prototypes and products for the component library my team was creating. The aim was to create a shared resource of components that could be used company-wide. I created buttons, dropdowns, menus and more with an emphasis on usability for people using assistive technology. I employed the Vue.js library to create protoypes to be reviewed by the team and managment.
“I would be delighted to be a reference for you. Let me know if there are any specifics you’d like me to highlight from among your many fine attributes.”
Josh Unger, Senior UX Designer, Amplify
I also created a storyboard for a children’s quiz game hosted by an animated character Owly. To bring Owly to life, I employed Adobe Animator and the Greensock.js library. Between each quiz, I created an animated sequence where Owly would do something like get dizzy and fall out of a tree. When my son was born, the team had a stuffed animal of the character made for him, which he still has today.
