Luden’s

The initial redesign of the well-known cough-drop brand incorporated diagonal sections, creating a host of challenges from a CSS perspective. I had to implement the feature using new transforming properties that had been introduced in CSS3. In addition, it was imperative that the site be fully responsive for viewing in mobile devices. Here too, the responsive additions introduced in CSS3 provided me the tools needed to create a mobile-friendly site.

The site popped with color on every page, so reviewing for color accessibility and general readability was key. I worked closely with the producer and the designer on questions of color-correction and font adjustment to ensure that the site was accessible by all. In addition, the unorthodox design necessitated extra attention to site navigability by voice or keyboard.
