The industrial robotics company STCR wanted a makeover to better showcase their unique line of B2B products. Using elements of embedded video and animation, I worked closely with the designer to create a site that was fun but also professional. As a company that was competing to be best in class in the grocery space, they were expecting a site that was tight, and we delivered.
We went bold with the color options and oversized headers. We presented a number of flashy animations that the client ended up loving, so we kept them in. The addition of some comedy and goofiness in the video production helped to lighten the sales pitch of equipment that can be a bit dull. We made the web site reflect that overall sense of fun and movement. We also helped shape content to indicate to search engines (and users) the purpose of these fairly esoteric products. We made suggestions for trending topics to be discussed in their blog posts to increase visibility through fresh content, which registers with search engines and improves organic search results.
