We were hired by the family-run architecture firm to execute a redesign of their site. We aimed to create something slick and clean that would present their process and previous work in an elegant way. Ample white space creates an airy vibe, like coming into a light-flooded lobby of a modern office building. Subtle animation draws attention to the various sections, while a series of project and testminonial sliders encourage engagement with the site. The site is perfectly responsive for visitors on mobile devices.

An Innovative User Experience

It was imperative to make this site unique and exceptional in design and functionality. Obviously, an architecture firm has to have a site that sets it apart and really showcases the excellent work of the firm.

We also wanted to create an online experience that was different from your average site, with a landing page that compels the user to interact with the site immediately. The subtle animation of the logo assembling and fading up in the background reflects the design and building nature of the business.

UX Challenges

The innovative navigation bar posed coding challenges in the process of ensuring the menu functioned correctly in all possible devices. The expanding / retracting functionality had to fine-tuned to ensure it would work as expected at any screen size. The minimized state of the menu centers the content and provides more real estate for showcasing the company’s impressive work.

Design Forward

It was imperative to keep it classy while incorporating the animations. Prospective customers of an architecture firm are likely to have high aesthetic standards. The site had to reflect the excellence of the Trudeau Associates work. It also had to be definitively modern and meticulous.

It turned out, in my opinion, to be one of the best sites I built for Vibrant Brands.
